Samsung Galaxy S4 Unpacked

On the evening of March 14th, Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 in New York City. Many of the new features were showcased, like:

• Smart Pause, which will pause video you are watching if you get distracted and look away.
• Dual Camera, allows you to insert yourself in the picture/video you are taking.
• S Translator, supports 9 languages in text and voice. 
• Knox, the enterprise security feature that allows you to separate personal from business content/apps.
• Air View/Gesture, that allows you to interact with the phone without touching the screen, and instead, waving your hand in front of it or hovering your finger over it.

A New Day in the History of BlackBerry

"It's a New Day in the History of BlackBerry," said Thorsten Heins on Jan 30th at the launch of BlackBerry10. Not only did the company change its name (from RIM to BlackBerry), it also announced two new phones on its new platform BB10 (Z10 and Q10). The Device of the Day is Mini

The device of the day on Oct. 23rd was the iPad Mini. With its price starting at $329 and a screen size of 7.9", this "mini-me" version of the original iPad is smaller and more affordable. More details on the tablet and my opinion can be found here.

Apple's New iPad

Today Apple announced the new "iPad", and kept the naming simple (rather than the anticipated names iPad 3 or iPad HD). I chatted with Howard Green on BNN Headline live at 1pm as the announcement was taking place in San Francisco. Check out the video here.
